Taken from my back door onto the deck. You can see the snow has melted, forming a pathway through the surrounding hedge.

I feel quite excited for you.
As i've never experienced as much snow as you get, I can only imagine how I would feel to have a much longer Winter.
Our weather is very up and down but we have experienced sunshine and the bulbs are flowering! Lovely.
Oh yes Wendy, they will....when mine have all disappeared I will be able to pop over and look at your gorgeous spring flowers....isn't blogging great......
What a treat to finally see some spring growing at your place. Bring on the sun and warmer weather!
I am amazed that you still have so much snow. The last of our snowbanks at the front of the house melted with the rain we had today. We are getting snow flurries overnight, but they are unlikely to accumulate.
As I write this, it's snowing outside my window...again!
Big! Fluffy! Flakes! LOL
This to shall pass...I'm looking forward to spring flowers in bloom.
Hi Maggie May, yes it is exciting to watch the snow melt. As I live out in the country, it takes longer. In the city, snow is practically all gone and flowers up, but probably not in bloom as yet. I hope your weather gets warmer!
Hi Cheryl, I do love coming to your blog and watching how Spring comes to your little corner of the world. I am enjoying your spring blossoms. I have made so many friends this way. Blogging is fun!
Hi Beckie - oh yeah, bring it on. Hope your weather is warm too!
Hi Ruth, it's still here, but last year the snow stayed until mid-April. It was really a bad year for snow. This year's a piece of cake!
Hi Mary, spring is just teasing you!
man, is the snow almost over? We have had spring, then a bit of winter, the plants are all confused.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Spring is an exciting time isn't it? I'm glad you are getting the chance to experience it!
Glad to see that spring is finally headed your way, Wendy! Let's hope all that snow finally melts, and you can see more green in your garden soon.
I feel rather silly complaining about our little bit of snow and bad weather today; apparently we were between two storms that dumped much more snow to the north and south of us. Apparently Old Man Winter isn't giving up easily.
Did you get snow again. We did. I went to bed this morning abt 5 am with snow falling and woke up abt 4 pm and it was gone. So I am calling it a bad dream it did not happen. But hubby said it was not a dream. I so want spring I do not want more snow. But Mother nature is in charge and I have to learn to respect her wishes.
Hi Bev, it seems "transition" seasons are like that. They're not sure if it's time to change or not. Poor plants!
Hi dowhatyoulove, spring is my favourite season. I just love it!
Hi Rose, don't ever feel silly about complaining about the weather. Some days it's really a trial getting through some nasty weather. Never mind. Soon it will be really warm, with flowers blooming everywhere!
Hi Grammy, well that's one way of looking at it. Mother nature is really in charge, so we do have to go with the flow. I hope the snow did not freeze your plants. No we didn't get any more. It's still here.
Wendy, I love seeing your plants poking thru.
Is Hubby feeling better?
Beautiful 'crystals' Wendy!!!! Glad the snow is MELTING and glad that spring is on the way. We had a cold day yesterday--but it's supposed to warm up for the rest of the week. Yeah-Rah!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
It is good to see Winter losing it's grip for you. I don't think there is anything more exciting than seeing life pushing it's way out of the ground--it holds such promise.
Do you feel your energy level increasing as signs of spring become visible? I always do.
xoxo Annette
How lovely! There's no better sight than tiny sprouts braving the melting snow! I planted some bulbs last fall, but now I can't remember exactly where or exactly what.... so I'll have to wait until they come up and be pleasantly surprised.... as long as those darn squirrels haven't made dinner out of them when i wasn't looking!
Oh how wonderful!!
I swear I won't even complain about the black flies this year (well not too much anyway) I am so sick of snow!
I can't wait to see something poking up from the ground!!
How wonderful that the snow is melting and soon you'll be outside tending those little flowers that have decided to wake up! Love the photo on sidebar of you two holding hands..lovely. hugs NG
Dear Wendy,
I am so happy to be spending time with you today. I love seeing the emerging daffodils and tulips. For me they give me hope.
Hugs,
Sherry
