Hey duckies - may I swim with you too?

Come here duckies ... I've got some bread for you..

Ducks are all gone. Maybe I should eat the rest of their bread!

Ahhhh - grandmothering is so satisfying.....

Yes, it is satisfying! Grandchildren take such pleasure in the simple things and are always happy to see you, aren't they? Your granddaughter is a cutie!

What lovely pics, she's a sweetie!

you wrote "how to you get pics to enlarge when you click on them? Is it the kind of camera you have? Or a blogger function?" Not the kind of camera, may be something to do with blogger. I just double click with the cursor on the pic and it opens in a larger format... but only if I haven't moved the pic around on the page before publishing the post... not sure why.

Awwwww!!!! Sweet, sweet, sweet. Reminds me of 1983 when my little girl saw the ducks at the pond for the first time. We also had a bag of bread. White ducks nipped at her coat zipper and her ears and we high-tailed out of there! LOL!

Wendy, what a sweet post! The 'grands' love nature don't they? And while they are enjoying themselves, we are enjoying them. You are making wonderful memories for her.

The joy and the love in the pictures come right through the screen.

There is a lot of water between us but despite that it is simply heartwarming that we take pleasure in the same small things. Like seeing little cuties feeding ducks!

Hi Carin - thanks for your kind words. I hope you are enjoying kids or grandkids too!

Hi Sherry - awwww - thank you for your kind and sweet words - and your wonderful friendship.

Hi Carmi - She'll probably look back and say "I was that little once?"

Hi roentarre - thanks. I was a little disappointed in the shots. I had wanted to take a pic of her actually feeding the ducks, but it didn't work out that way. There's always next time!
