Childhood Cancer Awareness

Mary at Mom2-2goodboys has done a post on childhood cancer.

The daughter of a friend of hers has had a relapse of her cancer (ewing sarcoma).

They thought she was cured. But it's back.

Little Ingrid will have to start chemotherapy all over again.

There is a petition to sign, sponsered by People Against Childhood Cancer and CureSearch. Their goal is 1,000,000 signatures.

Hi Mary - Oh I can't even imagine how Ingrid and her parents must feel. After all they've been through!

Hi Annette - thank you. The more people who know about this the better.

Hi Amy - glad you stopped by.

Hi Cheryl - I am happy to read one success story. Children should never have to suffer like this.

Cancer is bad news in adults...... in children it must be devastating.
Sorry to hear about little Ingrid's recurrence and do hope she will beat the blasted disease.

Wendy, I can't think of anything more tragic than seeing a child having to face cancer. I've signed the petition online; thanks for passing this on.
