Happy Birthday Baby Nathan!

Baby Nathan Thomas arrived safely into this world at 10:18 this morning, via C-section.

He is a little fellow weighing just 5 lbs. and 10 oz.
Mommy and baby are doing well.
Daddy is over the moon.
Grandma Wendy and Jasmine spend the day playing dolls, playdoh, "little people", farmhouse, listening to music and NOT napping.
We jumped on the bed instead (well, Jasmine did - not Grandma Wendy)!

A heartfelt Thank You to everybody who kept us in your thoughts and prayers.

Congratulations, Wendy! I'm so happy everything went well; enjoy that precious grandson.

I've found, too, that grandchildren don't believe in napping at Grandma's house:)

Wendy, Great news! So happy that all went well and everyone is doing okay. New babies are such a blessing. Napping is not an activity for Grandma's house. At least that's what my grand girls have always told me. :}

Congratulations! Praise and thanksgiving as well. Nathan is beautiful, I think the name Nathan means Given or Gift.

Too bad Grandma Wendy didn't jump on the bed and there are no pics of it posted along with the pic of Nathan.

Trying to catch up because I wasn't in town for the last couple of days and what should happen?
A brand new lovely baby!
Congrats to:
1. Mum - very well done!
2. Dad - well done too!
3. Jasmine - now you are a BIG sister!
4. Wendy - how do you manage to have so many wonderful grandchilds?

Lots of hugs and all the best for the 'new guy in town', may his arms grow a little faster than the rest of him that he can reach all the beautiful things his mum is very soon going to stash away a bit higher and higher and higher
LOL

Thank you everyone for your good wishes. I am overwhelmed by your kindness.

Just for the record - no Annette, I didn't take any pics of us jumping on the bed. Should have!!

I drove over to my daughter's home when she and hubby went to the hospital. It was easier to look after Jasmine in her own home with her toys and special food, medicine, and her bed for a nap - that didn't happen. We tried. I lay down with her, since she has a mattress on the floor. The crib never really worked.
She played. Told me to open my eyes. Poked a finger up my nose. Jumped up and down on the bed. I tried to pretend I was sleeping. She threw her stuffed cats all over. After a while I knew that no matter how long we lay there she just would not nap. So that was it.
